Position Summary

This role is responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and leading fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic relationship builder with a strong understanding of the development and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a business development strategy.
  • Identify new markets and revenue opportunities.
  • Build partnerships with corporates, government, NGOs, and international St. John organizations.
  • Lead proposal development and donor engagement.
  • Collaborate with communications to enhance visibility and promote services.
  • Monitor performance and report to management and the Board.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Development, Marketing, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in business development or partnerships, with five (5) years in senior roles.
  • Proven success in fundraising and strategic relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of donor landscape and proposal development.
