Position Summary
This role is responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and leading fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic relationship builder with a strong understanding of the development and private sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a business development strategy.
- Identify new markets and revenue opportunities.
- Build partnerships with corporates, government, NGOs, and international St. John organizations.
- Lead proposal development and donor engagement.
- Collaborate with communications to enhance visibility and promote services.
- Monitor performance and report to management and the Board.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Development, Marketing, or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in business development or partnerships, with five (5) years in senior roles.
- Proven success in fundraising and strategic relationship management.
- Strong understanding of donor landscape and proposal development.
