Background

On behalf of our client, we're seeking to recruit a highly driven Business Development & Partnerships Manager to lead revenue growth and strategic partnerships across a diversified portfolio spanning hospitality, fashion, sports, and lifestyle businesses. The role exists to drive commercial results by actively sourcing opportunities, converting leads into tangible business, building sustainable partnerships, and ensuring that growth initiatives are executed efficiently, thereby allowing the Founder to focus on strategic leadership rather than day-to-day follow-ups.

Performance Indicators

  • Revenue generated and deal value closed.
  • Number of new partnerships established.
  • Lead-to-conversion ratio.
  • Growth in repeat business and client retention.
  • Reduction in direct Diroctor's involvement in routine commercial follow-ups.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across all business units.
  • Actively follow up on leads, inquiries, and referrals to ensure timely conversion.
  • Convert discussions into confirmed bookings, sales, partnerships, and contracts.
  • Build and manage relationships with corporates, travel agents, DMCs, event organizers, retail and brand partners, and institutions.
  • Structure and negotiate mutually beneficial commercial partnerships.
  • Prepare proposals and coordinate deal execution with internal teams.
  • Re-engage past clients and dormant accounts to drive repeat business.
  • Maintain a strong and up-to-date pipeline of opportunities and partnerships.
  • Coordinate closely with operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of closed deals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Provide concise weekly performance updates and forecasts.
  • Flag risks, delays, and opportunities to management proactively.
  • Support internal coordination to minimize the Founder’s involvement in routine follow-ups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Sales & Marketing, Communications, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or commercial roles.
  • Proven track record in closing deals and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience within hospitality, retail, fashion, sports, or service- based industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Results-oriented, commercially minded, and disciplined in follow- ups.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
