Job Summary:

Category Lead Job West Kenya Sugar is looking for commercially minded professionals with strong experience in strategic sourcing, category procurement, supplier management, contract negotiations, and procurement transformation in fast-paced environments. Successful candidates will play a key role in driving centralized category procurement initiatives, supplier performance optimization, cost reduction strategies, and procurement excellence.

Key Requirements:

• Strong background in strategic sourcing and category management
• Experience managing technical and non-technical spend categories
• Strong negotiation, analytics, and stakeholder management capability
• SAP ERP experience preferred
• FMCG/manufacturing exposure highly desirable

Qualifications:

• Senior Category Lead: 6+ years’ experience with 3+ years in strategic sourcing/category procurement
• Category Lead: 4+ years’ experience with 2+ years in category procurement
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
• CIPS qualification is an added advantage

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
