A chef's responsibilities include menu creation, cooking, food quality control, and managing kitchen staff and inventory.

Menu development: Creating new menus and recipes. Food preparation and cooking: Preparing ingredients and cooking dishes to high standards. Quality control: Ensuring the quality, presentation, and taste of all food. Staff management: Supervising and training kitchen staff, delegating tasks, and scheduling.
