Job Context
This role is for a Commis position at an Ultra Luxury Beachfront Hotel located in Mombasa, Kenya. The hotel aims to provide exceptional guest experiences through its services.
Responsibilities
As a Commis, you will be responsible for assisting senior chefs in the kitchen, preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food quality standards are met. Specific duties may include:
- Assisting in the preparation and cooking of various dishes.
- Washing, peeling, chopping, and other food preparation tasks.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work station.
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Learning and executing recipes as directed.
