Responsibilities or duties
Organize and archive photos, videos, and communication materials on SharePoint in line with WeWorld guidelines.
Prepare IEC and visibility materials for projects.
Advocacy & Events Support
Support planning and implementation of awareness campaigns, workshops, and public events.
Assist in documenting key project milestones, lessons learned, and best practices.
Ensure brand compliance in all communication outputs.
Reporting & Coordination
Assist in preparing internal communication reports and activity summaries.
Support coordination with HQ communications focal points when required.
Perform any other communication-related tasks assigned by the supervisor or country director.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Minimum Education, Qualifications & Experience Required
Education
Recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, or related field.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, social media platforms).
Experience
Previous internship or volunteer experience in communications, media, or NGOs is an added advantage.
Experience in content creation, or social media management is desirable.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili.
Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva or Adobe tools).
Creativity and attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Basic photography and videography skills.
Desirable Qualifications
Additional Experience
Experience working with INGOs or community-based organizations.
Interest in gender equality, child protection, and development communication.
Understanding branding and digital engagement trends.
