Purpose of Activity/Assignment

UNICEF's role in planning, measuring, tracking, and reporting results for children requires the ability to gather, integrate, and share information between multiple actors. Within UNICEF's Digital Impact Division (DID), the Digital Centre of Excellence (DCOE) works with partners and stakeholders at global, regional and country levels to implement, track and provide insights on the scale up Real time Monitoring (RTM) platforms for programmatic results. Among the Real Time Monitoring (RTM) platforms supported by DCOE, RapidPro and InForm are deployed across UNICEF country offices as tools to support programme monitoring, community engagement and data collection at scale. RapidPro is a UNICEF digital public good that enables country offices to design and run two-way messaging services over SMS, WhatsApp and other channels. It is used across sectors for purposes such as community feedback, behaviour change communication, service delivery monitoring and emergency communication. InForm is a centrally contracted mobile data collection and survey platform that allows country offices and partners to design forms, collect data online and offline, and analyse results through dashboards. It supports household surveys, facility assessments, monitoring visits and other structured data collection across programme areas. The Digital Centre of Excellence seeks a RapidPro and InForm Community Manager to sustain an active, informed and well documented user community for both platforms. The Community Manager will manage community engagement, maintain the knowledge base and documentation on which country offices rely, provide second level user support, and carry out the routine administration required to keep both platforms operational for users.
