Responsibilities

The Consultant Gynaecologist will be responsible for providing safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred gynaecological care to women across Zuri Health's physical and virtual care platforms.

Qualifications/Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB/MBBS) from a recognised institution.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MMed, equivalent fellowship, or board certification) from an accredited institution.
  • Full registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) and a valid practising licence with current professional indemnity cover.
  • At least 12-18 months of relevant post-specialisation clinical experience, preferably in a busy hospital or clinical setting.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for improving access to quality healthcare.
  • Demonstrated experience in outpatient gynaecology and women's reproductive health services.
  • Experience providing telemedicine or digital health consultations is an added advantage.
  • Strong clinical judgment and excellent patient management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centred approach.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and hospital management systems.
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly adapt to digital health platforms and tools.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
