Terms of service: Permanent

Basic Salary: Kshs. 16,920.00 to Kshs. 19,920.00 p.m

Leave Allowance: as per civil service guidelines

Leave Entitlement: 30 working days per one financial year

Key Qualifications:

• Kenyan citizen
• KCSE D + (Plus)
• More than three (3) years’ experience as a cook, preferably in learning institution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Age: 30yrs – 45yrs

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking of raw foods for the institution staff and trainees.
• Ensure general cleanliness of kitchen wares and surrounding areas such as dining hall.
• Responsible for chopping, cutting and washing of raw food using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Neatly arrange kitchen equipment and utensils to enhance tidiness and ease of location.
• Ensure proper collection and disposal of waste to enhance proper sanitation
• Serve food to students as directed by the cateress
• Alerting supervisor of any defective equipment
