The Kenya School of Law (KSL) is the only bar school in Kenya. After their completion of an Undergraduate Degrees in Law from a recognized university, students attend the Kenya School of Law to be prepared for admission to the Kenyan Bar. The Kenya School of Law was established as a law vocational training school in 1963. 

Responsibilities or duties

The specific duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail: -

  • Preparing and cooking of food as per the approved recipes;
  • Maintain set hygiene standards in the kitchen;
  • Following established kitchen work schedules;
  • Carrying out daily stock take of supplies and monitoring stock levels of food supply; and
  • Maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen.

Qualifications or requirements 

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -

  • Certificate in Food Production from a recognized institution;
  • Fulfil the requirements of chapter six of the constitution; and
  • Proficiency in Computer Applications.
