Cool Store Supervisor

Job Summary

The Cool Store Supervisor will oversee the receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of harvested products while maintaining appropriate temperature and storage conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cool-store operations.
• Ensure harvested products are properly received, sorted, labelled, and stored.
• Monitor temperature, humidity, and general storage conditions.
• Maintain accurate stock and movement records.
• Coordinate product dispatches according to schedules.
• Monitor product quality and report damage, deterioration, or discrepancies.
• Ensure the cool store is clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
• Coordinate with harvesting, packing, and logistics teams.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in cold-room, packhouse, warehouse, or horticultural operations.
• Strong inventory and record-keeping skills.
• Good understanding of post-harvest handling and quality control.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
