Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive corporate affairs and communications strategies.
- Manage all internal and external communications, including media relations, public relations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Create and disseminate compelling content across various platforms, including press releases, social media, website, and newsletters.
- Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, and respond appropriately.
- Organize and manage corporate events and sponsorships.
- Ensure brand consistency and enhance the Sacco's reputation.
- Provide support for corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience in corporate communications, public relations, or media management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of media landscape and public relations principles.
- Proficiency in social media management and digital communication tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the financial sector is an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
