JOB DETAILS:
Qualifications or requirements
- Be a Citizen of Kenya
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in either Counselling Psychology, Health Psychology, or any other relevant and equivalent qualification in a health-related field from a recognized institution
- One (1) year internship practice in a health facility under the supervision of a senior psychologist/registered mental health professional
- Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution
Responsibilities or duties
- Taking the history of the patient
- Conducting psychological assessment and diagnosis of the clients
- Developing treatment plans
- Prescribing intervention and possible referrals
- Collecting data
- Keeping appropriate records
