Background

Westlands Specialists Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in Kenya, committed to delivering high-quality medical services. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team.

Responsibilities

The Credit Controller will be responsible for managing outstanding debts, ensuring timely payments from patients and insurance companies, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key duties include:

• Monitoring accounts receivable and identifying overdue accounts.
• Contacting patients and insurance providers to arrange for payments.
• Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Preparing reports on accounts receivable status.
• Liaising with the billing department to ensure accurate invoicing.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of credit control principles and debt collection processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
