Responsibilities
The Credit Controller will be responsible for managing outstanding debts, ensuring timely payments from patients and insurance companies, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key duties include:
- Monitoring accounts receivable and identifying overdue accounts.
- Contacting patients and insurance providers to arrange for payments.
- Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Preparing reports on accounts receivable status.
- Liaising with the billing department to ensure accurate invoicing.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of credit control principles and debt collection processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Experience
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
