Background

Almacis J.V. ALMA C.I.S. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crop Production Coordinator specializing in Oil Crops. This role is crucial for managing and optimizing the production processes of oil crops, ensuring efficiency and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agronomy and a proven track record in agro-industrial supply chains.

Responsibilities

The Crop Production Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of oil crop production, from planning and implementation to monitoring and evaluation. This includes developing crop management strategies, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role also involves regular field travel to monitor crop health, yield, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Tropical Agronomy or Bioenergy. A minimum of 7 years of experience in agro-industrial supply chains is required. Proficiency in GIS and digital agricultural tools is essential. The role is based in Nairobi with regular field travel.
