JOB DETAILS:

Manage daily operations of the South Eastern Heritage Centre.

Responsibilities or duties

Oversee the preservation, cataloguing, and exhibition of cultural artifacts;

Coordinate research and documentation of local cultural heritage;

Design and manage public education programs and cultural exhibitions;

Ensure proper storage, security, and conservation of museum items;

Develop partnerships with heritage institutions and stakeholders; and

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Be a Citizen of Kenya;

Bachelor’s degree in Museum Studies, Anthropology, History, or a related field from a recognized institution;

Strong organizational and research skills.

Experience needed

Experience in heritage management and artifact preservation;
