Position: Customs Declaration Officer – Tatu City

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit customs documentation -IDF, C63, C17, etc. for cargo clearance through the KRA ICMS system.
• Ensure accurate HS code classification, duty calculation and declaration of goods.
• Verify the completeness and accuracy of all shipping and import documents such as Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, etc.
• Liaise with KRA, KPA, KEBS, Port Health and other regulatory bodies for inspections, approvals and cargo release.
• Handle queries raised by customs officials or other regulatory authorities professionally and promptly.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Clearing & Forwarding, Customs Administration or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of ICMS and KRA iTax systems.
• KESRA Customs Certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in customs declaration.
