Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Analyst to join our growing team in Nairobi, Kenya. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support business decision-making. This role is crucial in helping us understand our impact, optimize our products, and identify new opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to our products, operations, and farmer impact.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, operations, sales) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of data collection methodologies and tools.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and data-driven innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python/R, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methods.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in the agricultural or insurance sector is a plus.
