Deliver goods: Pick up and deliver packages, food, or other items to customers in a timely and professional manner. Load and unload: Safely load and unload goods from the vehicle, taking care with fragile or perishable items. Navigate routes: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to reach delivery destinations. Customer interaction: Provide excellent service during delivery, communicate with customers, and handle payments if required. Record keeping: Maintain accurate delivery logs, including signatures and confirmation of deliveries. Vehicle maintenance: Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs to ensure the vehicle is safe and reliable. Communication: Keep dispatch and customers informed of any delays or issues with the delivery status.

Driving and navigation: A clean driving record and knowledge of the area are crucial. Skills include safe and efficient driving, route planning using GPS, and driving in various weather and traffic conditions. Time management: The ability to work efficiently and meet strict delivery schedules and deadlines is essential. Customer service: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed to interact with customers professionally and handle any issues or concerns. Physical stamina: Riders must be able to physically handle the job, including loading, unloading, and carrying packages, some of which may be heavy. Problem-solving: The ability to think on your feet and find alternative routes or solutions when delays occur is important. Attention to detail: This applies to following delivery instructions, packing items securely, and maintaining accurate records. Technical skills: Basic smartphone and GPS skills are necessary. Depending on the role, some may also need basic computer and payment processing skills.
