Digital Marketing Intern-30k
Job Purpose
The Digital Marketing Intern will support the execution of marketing initiatives across digital platforms, content production, brand engagement activities, and lead generation campaigns. The role offers hands-on exposure to content creation, social media management, video production, market research, campaign execution, and performance reporting while contributing to the organization’s marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across social media and other digital channels.
- Assist in developing content calendars and content plans aligned with marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating video shoots, photography sessions, interviews, and site content collection.
- Contribute to content ideation and creative brainstorming for campaigns, social media, and marketing initiatives.
- Support the development of marketing collateral including artworks, and promotional materials.
- Assist with social media management activities including audience engagement, community management, content scheduling, and reporting.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience insight gathering to support marketing strategies.
- Assist in preparing marketing reports and tracking campaign performance metrics.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for this Role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum Second Class Upper Division.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience through internships, attachments, freelance work, campus leadership, or professional roles.
- Strong interest in digital marketing, content creation, and brand communications.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing principles.
- Ability to integrate AI tools into daily marketing work, including content creation, copywriting, idea generation, research, and workflow optimization.
- Basic knowledge of design and content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar platforms will be an added advantage.
- Photography, videography, graphic design, or video editing skills will be an added advantage.
Competencies Required for this Role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content for digital audiences.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate fresh content and campaign ideas.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand consistency.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, resourceful, and willing to take initiative.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
