About the Role
The Judicial Service Commission invites applications for the position of Director, Public Affairs and Corporate Communications. This role is responsible for shaping the Commission’s public image, managing stakeholder engagement, and leading communication strategies that promote transparency and trust in the judiciary.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field from a recognized university
- Master’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field from a recognized university
- At least 15 years’ relevant experience, with 10 years in a senior management role
- Membership in a recognized professional body in communication or public relations
- Demonstrated experience in corporate communications, media relations, and stakeholder engagement
- Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution (leadership and integrity)
Core Competencies
- Strategic leadership and management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to manage complex communication programs
- Commitment to public service and institutional integrity

- Successful candidates must provide clearance certificates from KRA, HELB, DCI, EACC, CRB, and relevant professional bodies
