Job Summary
It requires an individual who understands the importance of safety, time management, confidentiality, and professionalism in a corporate environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, timely, and efficient transportation of staff, visitors, goods, and official documents, while maintaining the highest standards of vehicle care and road safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport staff, visitors, goods, and documents as assigned
- Plan routes effectively to ensure punctuality and efficiency
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, etc.)
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy at all times
- Maintain accurate logbooks, fuel records, and service schedules
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety policies
- Handle company materials with care and confidentiality
- Support administrative and logistics errands when required
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum KCSE certificate or equivalent
- Valid driving license (Class B/C)
- Clean driving record with no major traffic offenses
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of Nairobi roads and surrounding areas
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English and Swahili
- Preferred: Candidates above 30 years of age
