The Coast Water Works Development Agency (CWWDA) is a state Corporation in the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation which was created under the Water Act 2016.The area of Jurisdiction of CWWDA across all counties of the Coast Region namely; Lamu, Tana River, Kilifi, Mombasa, Kwale and Taita Taveta.

• Design civil engineering works including water supply systems, drainage, roads, and structural works in accordance with approved standards.
• Supervise construction projects, ensuring adherence to designs, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
• Oversee site operations, including contractor management, material inspection, and quality control.
• Conduct surveys and prepare site plans and technical drawings.
• Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and project completion documents.
• Monitor project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
• Supervise junior engineers, technicians, and support staff assigned to projects.
