Degree Holder preferred Or A/L Pass with NIPM Plantations Management Course (Advantage)
Strong Leadership Potential Excellent Command of English
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and effective team coordination skills.
Ability to Communicate in Sinhala & Tamil is an advantage
Trainee Planter Program - Engineering & Infrastructure Management
Role Summary: Responsible for the mechanical and civil engineering aspects of the estate, including factory machinery, vehicles, buildings, and water supply systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventive Maintenance: Implement and schedule routine maintenance for tractors, harvesters, factory rollers, and generators.
Infrastructure Upkeep: Oversee the repair and construction of estate buildings, worker housing, and roads.
Energy Management: Manage power supply systems (generators or grid) and ensure fuel efficiency across the estate.
Water Systems: Maintain reservoirs, pumps, and piping to ensure adequate irrigation and factory process water.
Project Management: Lead small-scale construction or installation projects, managing contractors and material costs.
