WE'RE HIRING! KENAFRIC MANUFACTURING FG & Dispatch Manager-Stationery Division Location: Nairobi The FG & Dispatch Manager will be responsible for managing finished goods inventory, storage, and dispatch operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery to customers while maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy, safety, and warehouse organization.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Manage receipt of finished goods from production and ensure accurate SAP updates.
  • Oversee order processing, picking, packing, and dispatch to ensure OTIF delivery.
  • Plan daily dispatch schedules, transport, and ensure complete documentation accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Production to maintain optimal finished goods levels aligned to demand.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of finished goods to maintain quality and accuracy.
  • Minimize inventory variances through monitoring, reconciliation, and CAPA implementation.
  • Enforce FIFO/FEFO principles and conduct regular stock counts and audits.
  • Manage returns, damages, and customer complaints in collaboration with Sales and Customer Service.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in warehouse operations.
  • Drive 5S, waste reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop the dispatch and finished goods team to achieve performance targets.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years' experience in supply chain, materials planning, or inventory management within a manufacturing environment
  • At least 3 years in a planning or materials management role (MRP, demand planning, or production supply coordination)
  • Proven experience working in a SAP-driven or ERP-integrated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in paper, packaging, FMCG, or process manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control systems (min/max, safety stock, EOQ).
  • Proficiency in Google workspace.
