Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• CPA(K), ACCA or equivalent required
• 7+ years finance/accounting experience, with 4+ years in management
• Experience in FMCG, retail, construction materials, or similar fast-moving industries
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting & financial analysis skills
• Proficiency with ERP systems & advanced Excel
• Strong leadership and communication abilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Support decisions on new branches, product lines, and capital investments
• Conduct deep profitability, cost, and margin analyses to guide growth
• Oversee day-to-day finance operations (AP/AR, cash flow, GL)
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to leadership & the board
• Ensure full compliance with IFRS, tax laws, and internal policies
• Strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and accountability
• Identify financial risks and roll out mitigation strategies
• Manage external audits and maintain key financial relationships
• Work closely with operations, procurement, sales & branches to improve performance
• Present financial insights that influence high-level decisions
• Lead, coach & develop the finance team
