Job Brief

We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial transactions, including fixed payments, variable expenses, bank deposits, and budgets. Responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping experience, a keen eye for numerical accuracy, and the ability to manage people and capital. This role provides strategic direction to maximize ROI, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and deliver accurate financial insights on liquidity and cash flow.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an Accountant, Manager, or other senior finance role
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • CPA certification (mandatory)

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting transactions
  • Publish financial statements on time
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure timely bank deposits
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Report on company’s financial health and liquidity
  • Audit financial transactions and documents
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups

Compensation Package

Salary: Ksh 100,000+
