Strategic partnership: Partner with business leaders to deliver financial insights and drive performance. Performance management: Monitor key performance indicators, analyze variances against budgets, and provide management with performance reports. Budgeting and forecasting: Coordinate and manage the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes. Financial analysis and modeling: Develop financial models to support business decisions and conduct ad-hoc financial projects. Reporting: Prepare and present accurate, timely financial reports for senior management. Risk management: Review financial accounts and projects to identify and mitigate financial risks. Business support: Provide financial guidance and support to commercial, sales, and operational staff.

Analytical and problem-solving: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations. Financial planning and analysis (FP&A): Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis. Business acumen and strategic thinking: Understanding of the business's commercial drivers to guide strategic and operational decisions. Communication and influencing: Clear and persuasive communication skills to explain financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Technical skills: Proficiency in tools like MS Excel, databases, and financial systems is crucial. Soft skills: Collaboration, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential for working across departments. Attention to detail: The ability to be meticulous and accurate in financial reporting.

Requirements typically include a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and several years of experience, while professional qualifications like CIMA, ACCA, or ACA are often required or preferred.
