We wish to fill in the above vacancy at our Finance Department. The details of the position are as follows: -
JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, prepare reports, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and providing accurate financial reports in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). To stay a critical role in ensuring the company’s financial records are up to date and compliant with relevant tax laws, accounting standards and regulations.
A) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in line with IFRS and healthcare regulatory requirements
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting
- Oversee expenditure controls, supplier reconciliations, and payment processes
- Review all revenue, insurance claims, receivables, and cash collections to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with hospital policies, statutory, and tax obligations
- Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and implementation of audit recommendations
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Assist management in financial risk assessment and mitigation
- Liaise with auditors, regulators, insurers, and other stakeholders
B) QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA IV/ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience, preferably with a strong audit background
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is an added advantage
- Solid knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, and audit standards
- Hands-on experience with accounting systems and ERP platforms
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong ethical standards and confidentiality
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Proactive, organized, and results-driven
