Job Context

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Food Server to join the team at a Ultra Luxury Beachfront Hotel in Mombasa. This role is crucial in ensuring guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and potential allergens.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their meal.
• Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism and escalate to management when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
• Process payments accurately.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Food Server or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• A positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Work Environment
