Are you a recent graduate with a passion for data and operations? We are looking for a motivated Data Analyst to join our Beef Processing team at the Thika Processing Plant. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where you will support data-driven decision-making across the production process from raw material handling to final packaging You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse data, improve efficiency, reduce waste, and contribute to maintaining high food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analysing production data across processing lines.
  • Support reconciliation of data at weighing centres and highlight discrepancies.
  • Help review system entries, stock movements, and production records.
  • Participate in stock reconciliation to ensure alignment between physical and system records.
  • Prepare daily production and stock reports under supervision.
  • Provide timely insights to support production planning and performance improvement.
  • Support system usage (Navision/Endeavor) to ensure accurate data capture.
  • Monitor data entry systems and escalate issues when identified.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to resolve operational challenges.
  • Participate in stock counts and routine monitoring activities.
  • Assist in analysing trends in yield, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Support compliance with food safety and regulatory standards (e.g., HACCP).

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Food Technology, Statistics, Operations Management, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and tools.
  • Exposure to Excel, SQL, or any data visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is an added advantage.
  • Interest in manufacturing, food production, or supply chain operations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • People Management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
