Job Purpose
Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of a fast-growing, design-led client in the building and construction industry, is seeking a commercially driven and data-led Growth Marketing Executive to lead demand generation, pipeline growth, and brand-led commercial impact across B2B and project-based markets. This is a strategic leadership role for a marketer who understands revenue generation, sales alignment, and end-to-end funnel performance, with a proven ability to translate marketing investment into measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a growth marketing strategy that drives qualified leads, strong pipelines, and revenue contribution.
- Own and optimize the full lead life-cycle, from awareness and acquisition through qualification and conversion.
- Drive digital-led demand generation across relevant channels, ensuring consistent lead quality and conversion performance.
- Track and improve marketing efficiency metrics
- Partner closely with Business Development and Sales teams to align targeting, messaging, lead qualification, and conversion processes.
- Support revenue growth across key customer segments, projects, and market opportunities through effective go-to-market execution.
- Balance short-term pipeline delivery with long-term brand equity and market positioning.
- Ensure consistent, premium brand representation across all customer touchpoints and marketing channels.
- Strengthen market visibility and credibility in priority B2B and project-based segments.
- Build and lead a high-performing growth marketing team with strong commercial and analytical capability
- Oversee marketing analytics, reporting, and dashboards to support data-driven decision making.
- Ensure effective use of CRM systems and marketing automation tools to support lead tracking, attribution, and conversion.
- Manage marketing budgets with strong governance, ROI discipline, and performance accountability.
- Lead and manage agencies and external partners under clear performance expectations.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or commercial marketing roles, with at least 3 years at management level.
- Demonstrated success driving revenue, pipeline growth, or conversion outcomes from marketing initiatives in a B2B environment.
- Experience working closely with Sales or Business Development teams.
- Experience in the construction industry would be highly desirable.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills with the ability to quantify marketing impact.
- Deep understanding of B2B digital marketing, demand generation, and funnel optimization.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and performance analytics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
