JOB DETAILS:
The Hardware Support Specialist role focuses on supporting banking hardware infrastructure and ensuring reliability of ICT equipment across banking operations.
The successful candidate will help maintain operational continuity by supporting end-user hardware systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring equipment performance standards are achieved.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Installing and maintaining computer hardware systems
- Troubleshooting hardware-related technical issues
- Supporting desktop, laptop, and peripheral device maintenance
- Managing hardware replacement and repair processes
- Monitoring performance of ICT equipment
- Supporting branch and head office hardware operations
- Coordinating preventive maintenance activities
- Ensuring proper asset tracking and inventory management
- Supporting users with hardware troubleshooting and configuration
- Maintaining hardware support documentation and reports
- Coordinating with vendors and service providers
- Supporting network-connected hardware devices
- Assisting in rollout of new ICT hardware infrastructure
- Ensuring compliance with ICT support procedures and standards
This role is suitable for professionals experienced in ICT support, hardware troubleshooting, end-user support, and technical infrastructure management.
