About the Role

The Head of Brokerage will be responsible for leading and managing the brokerage operations of KCB Group. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of financial markets and a proven track record in managing brokerage businesses. The successful candidate will drive growth, ensure compliance, and maintain high standards of client service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the brokerage business to achieve growth targets.
  • Oversee all aspects of brokerage operations, including trading, settlement, and risk management.
  • Manage and mentor the brokerage team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the brokerage services.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage the brokerage budget and ensure financial performance targets are met.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFA) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within brokerage operations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a brokerage business.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and trading platforms.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools.
