Responsibilities
Provide Strategic Leadership: Lead the Middle Years section by promoting academic excellence, effective curriculum implementation and holistic learner development aligned with the school's mission, vision and values.
Drive Learner Success: Oversee learner enrolment, retention, transition, academic achievement and overall learner progress through effective leadership and quality assurance.
Champion Teaching Excellence and Innovation: Promote high-quality teaching, continuous staff development, ICT integration and innovative learning practices to enhance learner outcomes.
Promote Learner Well-being: Foster a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment by supporting learner wellbeing, positive behaviour and safeguarding practices.
Build Strong Partnerships: Strengthen relationships with parents and the wider school community through effective communication and collaborative engagement.
Lead and Develop Staff: Supervise, mentor and appraise teaching and support staff while fostering a collaborative, accountable and high-performing team.
Manage Operations and Compliance: Oversee the daily operations of the Middle Years section, monitor performance, prepare reports and ensure compliance with school policies and standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education.
8 years relevant subject matter teaching experience and/or 4years relevant managerial/leadership experience.
TSC Registration.
Valid certificate of good conduct.
Special Needs (SNE) Training will be an added advantage.

Computer skills.
First aid training.
Child care skills.
Organization skills.
