TIL Limited, a subsidiary company of AHL Group Plc is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Hessian Supervisor. The position is tenable in Lilongwe.

Position function

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Hessian and Re-handling Manager and will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient distribution of hessian to tobacco farmers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The main duties and responsibilities of the Hessian Supervisor will include the following:

• Formulating hessian distribution plans and ensuring that hessian is distributed to growers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Accounting for all Hessian stocks at Regional level before and after the Hessian distribution process.
• Monitoring and tracking all hessian that has been sent for distribution at mobile depots.
• Reconciling hessian receipts after distribution.
• Ensuring that team members maintain and properly utilize all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ensuring that correct measures of hessian storage are followed to protect hessian from damage.
• Preparing and submitting weekly reports on inventory and hessian distribution.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from a reputable institution.
• At least three (3) years’ working experience in Inventory Management.
• A team player with high integrity and ethical conduct.
