Our client, a leading private healthcare facility in Nairobi, is seeking to recruit an experienced Pharmacist with 3–5 years of professional experience to take on a clinical and leadership-focused role within the pharmacy unit. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services, while overseeing daily operations, mentoring staff, and driving continuous improvement in patient care and medication management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, including prescription review, therapeutic monitoring, and clinical interventions.
  • Lead and manage the pharmacy unit’s day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and quality service delivery.
  • Offer clinical guidance and decision support to healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacy staff.
  • Participate in clinical audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee medication management, inventory control, and documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, clinical protocols, and best practices.

  • In-depth knowledge of pharmacotherapy and clinical guidelines
  • Ability to conduct medication reviews and identify drug-related problems

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in pharmacy systems and clinical documentation

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  • Valid Pharmacist license/registration.
  • 3–5 years of relevant clinical pharmacy experience.
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
