This is a full-time, on-site position for a Hostess Waitress at Jumba Ruins Monsoon, located in Mombasa County, Kenya. The Hostess Waitress will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, guiding customers to their tables, assisting with menu recommendations, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout their dining experience. Other duties include collaborating closely with the kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient food service and addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills to provide an outstanding guest experience and handle inquiries effectively.
- Knowledge and experience in food and beverage service or food service, ensuring seamless coordination between guests and the dining team.
- Basic cooking knowledge is a plus, as it will aid in understanding menu items and providing informed recommendations to guests.
- A positive attitude, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in hospitality or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
