BridgeTalent Management is hiring on behalf of a prestigious hospitality client seeking top-tier talent to spearhead a highly anticipated opening. We're looking for exceptional professionals across Front of House and Culinary roles who bring strong technical expertise, operational excellence, and a passion for outstanding guest experiences.

HOSTESS

Job Purpose

The Hostess is responsible for creating a warm and professional first impression, welcoming guests, managing seating arrangements, coordinating reservations, and supporting smooth front-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and acknowledge guests promptly and professionally.
  • Manage guest arrivals, reservations, and seating arrangements.
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
  • Maintain accurate reservation and guest information.
  • Coordinate table allocation according to reservations, guest preferences, and operational requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with waiters, supervisors, managers, and kitchen staff.
  • Monitor guest flow and assist with managing waiting lists during busy periods.
  • Provide accurate information about menus, facilities, services, and operating hours.
  • Respond to guest requests and enquiries professionally.
  • Handle guest concerns courteously and refer complex issues to management.
  • Assist with coordinating special occasions, VIP arrivals, and guest preferences.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area.
  • Monitor table availability and communicate updates to the service team.
  • Support front-of-house operations during busy periods.
  • Maintain professional grooming, appearance, body language, and etiquette.
  • Uphold the establishment's service standards and guest experience expectations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' relevant front-of-house or hospitality experience, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel or high-end restaurant.
  • Previous experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, Guest Relations Officer, or similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, confident, and welcoming personality.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service orientation.
  • Professional grooming and presentation.
