RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Benchmarking and formulating position requirements.
  • Ensuring vacant positions get maximum exposure to potential candidates.
  • Lead in the shortlisting, interviewing, recruiting, and orienting employees.
  • Manage employee contracts and ensure compliance.
  • Seeing to statutory deductions from the payroll and remittance to the relevant government bodies.
  • Researching, formulating, and implementing HR policies.
  • Will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing company polices.
  • Manage employee incentive programs and monitor payroll.
  • Following up on employee work performance.
  • All other assigned Human Resource-related responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • At least a mean grade of B (plain) in KCSE/High School.
  • At least a Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution.
  • Human Resource Management Training experience.
  • Must be proficient with PCs and Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Must be an advanced computer and internet user.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Must be exceptionally self-disciplined and have a powerful work ethic.
  • Proficiency in oral and written English.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Proactive, Entrepreneurial, and ability to deliver exceptional results.
  • Advanced research skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to make important decisions.
  • The ability to cope with the pressure of a demanding work environment.
  • To have confidence in their judgment & decision-making when faced with ambiguity.
  • To be able to multitask and be an effective problem solver.
  • Tact and diplomacy.
