Job Summary

The Human Resource Officer will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions to support the institute's operations and staff.

Key Roles

  • Conduct recruitment, selection, and onboarding process.
  • Prepare payroll and other employee benefits.
  • Handle disciplinary matters and disciplinary procedures.
  • Coordinate and facilitate staff performance appraisal processes.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with Labour laws, organizational policies, and HR procedures.
  • Handle employee relations matters and provide HR support to staff.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science/Business in Human Resource Management.
  • Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management.
  • Certified Human Resource Practitioner (CHRP-K) will be an added advantage.
  • Two years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications and Management systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Kenyan Labour laws and HR best practices.
