Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead and manage all aspects of HR operations in our Kenya office. The role will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance with Kenyan labor laws, compensation and benefits, and HR policy development.

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Develop recruitment plans in line with business needs.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates through local channels (e.g., LinkedIn, BrighterMonday, referrals, and professional networks).
  • Manage onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new hires.

2. HR Administration & Compliance

  • Oversee day-to-day HR administration, including record management, data entry, and departmental coordination.
  • Handle employee documentation, including drafting and signing employment contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with Kenyan labor laws, including NSSF, NHIF, PAYE, and other statutory requirements.

3. Employee Relations & Welfare

  • Manage employee life-cycle processes (onboarding, transfers, promotions, exits).
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, resolve workplace conflicts, and foster positive culture.
  • Support performance management and grievance resolution.

4. Compensation & Benefits

  • Administer payroll, ensuring accurate salary processing and statutory deductions.
  • Manage benefits schemes and advise on compensation adjustments in line with performance and company policies.

5. Policy & Process Development

  • Develop and refine HR policies and procedures, including performance evaluation, salary increments, and promotions.
  • Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems.
  • Lead HR process improvements to align with business growth.
