The Role: ICT Officer

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive ICT Officer to join our Nairobi-based team. This role is key in maintaining and improving our ICT infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting our business systems with reliability, efficiency, and care.

As an ICT Officer, you’ll provide technical support across the business, manage internal networks, ensure device compliance, and champion system security—all while helping us scale our technology to match our growth.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and manage internal networks and IT infrastructure.

• Provide onsite and remote technical support for systems and end users.

• Ensure timely resolution of ICT issues in line with company SLAs.

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and applications.

• Manage IT assets and maintain an accurate IT inventory.

• Support device configuration, compliance, and deployment via MDM.

• Oversee endpoint security using antivirus, firewall, and MDM solutions.

• Facilitate user onboarding/offboarding and access control.

• Contribute to ICT process improvements through shared knowledge.

• Support data protection, compliance, and call center operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar ICT role within a fast-paced organization.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.

• Proficiency in ICT systems and applications; familiarity with Freshservice is a plus.

• Certification such as CCNA will be an added advantage.

• A proactive, customer-focused mindset and the ability to work independently.
