ICT Systems and Support Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, email, printers and network issues.
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot computers, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
  • Assist in maintaining LAN, wireless networks, Microsoft 365 and business applications.
  • Support user account administration and password management.
  • Maintain ICT asset inventories and software licence records.
  • Support antivirus management, system updates, backups and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Maintain ICT documentation and prepare periodic ICT reports.
  • Support ICT projects and perform any other ICT-related duties assigned.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' relevant ICT support experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and networking.
  • Knowledge of ICT security principles.
  • Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft or CCNA will be an added advantage.
