Industrial Attachment Program

Kenya Power is pleased to announce industrial attachment opportunities for students pursuing relevant courses in various fields. This program is designed to provide practical experience and exposure to the operations of a leading utility company.

Areas of Attachment

The industrial attachment will be offered in the following departments/areas:

• Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, etc.)
• Information Technology
• Finance and Accounting
• Human Resources
• Procurement and Supplies Chain Management
• Customer Service
• Legal Services
• Corporate Communications

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this industrial attachment program, applicants must:

• Be currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
• Have completed at least two years of study for degree programs or one year for diploma programs.
• Provide a letter from their institution recommending them for industrial attachment.
• Be available for the entire attachment period (September - November 2026).
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be proactive, eager to learn, and able to work in a team environment.

Duration of Attachment

The industrial attachment program will run for a period of three (3) months, from September 2026 to November 2026.

Benefits

Selected interns will gain valuable practical experience, mentorship from experienced professionals, and exposure to the corporate environment. A monthly stipend will be provided.
