Responsibilities or duties,
- Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting investigations of alleged violations of UN rules and regulations.
- Support fact‑finding to identify information, establish evidence, and prepare investigation reports.

- Prepare reports, documentation, and statistical findings; draft annual and semi‑annual reports.
- Initiate cases in the case management system and conduct background checks.
- Draft interview summaries and case documents.
- Monitor the OIOS hotline, record complaints, and manage the Investigations Division Case Management System.
- Assist with transcription services, liaising with vendors as required.
- Collect and analyze data, prepare presentations, and update information materials.
- Perform other duties as required.

Competencies
- Professionalism: Knowledge of investigation theories and approaches; strong drafting and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and apply good judgment.
- Communication: Clear and effective oral and written communication; openness in sharing information.
- Teamwork: Collaborative approach; values others’ input; supports group decisions.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience needed,
Work Experience
- Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support of investigations.
- Reduced to 5 years for candidates with a first‑degree or higher.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar) desirable.
- Experience as part of an investigative team desirable.
- Experience using investigative software desirable.
- One year or more of experience in data analytics desirable.
Languages
- English required (Level III proficiency).
- French desirable (Level II proficiency).
