Job Purpose

To drive investor acquisition and revenue growth for True Group by positioning and selling residential income-generating properties as structured investment products. The Investment Sales Executive serves as the primary point of contact for prospective investors, translating True Group's managed-yield model into clear, compelling investment cases that align with each client's financial goals. The role is central to expanding True Group's investor base across first-time buyers, capital redirectors, and diaspora clients, converting qualified leads into long-term investment relationships built on transparency, consistent returns, and trust.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Acquisition & Pipeline Management

  • Identify, prospect, and qualify potential investors through referrals, digital leads, networking events, diaspora outreach, and corporate channels.
  • Build and manage a structured sales pipeline, tracking prospects from first contact through to close.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets across True Group product lines.

Investment Advisory & Consultation

  • Conduct detailed investor consultations in person, virtually, or via diaspora-friendly channels to understand financial goals and match clients to the right product.
  • Present and articulate the investment case for each project with regard to rental yields, capital appreciation, payment plan structures, title security, and management model.

Client Relationship Management

  • Own the full client journey from lead to close, maintaining consistent communication and building long-term investor trust.
  • Support clients through the transaction process documentation, payment plan onboarding, legal milestones in coordination with the operations and legal teams.
  • Nurture existing investors for repeat purchases and portfolio expansion, leveraging the True Group investment ladder model.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Stay current on Nairobi real estate market trends, competing investment products, and investor sentiment, particularly in the affordable and mid-market segments.
  • Provide regular pipeline reports and sales forecasts to the Sales and Marketing Manager.
  • Gather and relay investor feedback to inform product positioning and future development planning.

Brand & Outreach

  • Represent True Group at investment forums, property expos, corporate events, and diaspora community engagements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaign execution, referral programmes, and digital lead generation.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in investment sales, financial advisory, bancassurance, wealth management.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a consultative, relationship-driven sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of investment fundamentals such as yield, ROI, capital growth, risk-return trade-offs.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tool and pipeline management.
  • Prior experience selling investment products, off-plan developments, or income-generating assets.
  • Existing network among diaspora communities, SACCOs, investment clubs, Self-Help Groups, Chamas or high-net-worth individuals.
  • Exposure to payment plan structuring or instalment-based sales models.
