About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and organized Kitchen Steward to join our culinary team. The Kitchen Steward will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and surrounding areas, ensuring all equipment is clean and properly stored, and assisting the kitchen staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen floors, surfaces, and walls.
• Dispose of waste and recycling in designated areas.
• Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies.
• Support chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks as directed.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience as a kitchen steward or in a similar role is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Team player with good communication skills.
