Responsibilities or duties
Is responsible for performing complex diagnostic tests and analyses on clinical specimens to assist in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. Protocols and quality standards.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Degree in Laboratory Sciences or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
- Registered and with a valid license from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board
- Trained and must demonstrate understanding of Laboratory Quality Management Systems (QMS) initiatives
- Proficiency in computer skills (especially Health Management Information Systems).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Experience needed
- At least one year of internship working experience
- Performing complex diagnostic tests and analyses on clinical specimens to assist in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases.
- Adhering to protocols and quality standards.
- Proficiency in computer skills (especially Health Management Information Systems).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of Laboratory Quality Management Systems (QMS) initiatives.
- Degree in Laboratory Sciences or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Registered and with a valid license from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board.
