QUALIFICATION

Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a recognized university

5 years post-qualification experience in a busy dispute resolution department,

A strong background in handling Litigation matters,

Excellent Research and Drafting skills,

Ability to work in a high-performance environment,

Ability to consistently deliver excellent legal solutions.

Self - driven,

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Represent clients in court across various levels of the judiciary, including preparing court documents, legal arguments, and oral submissions.

Attend court hearings regularly, advocating on behalf of clients, presenting evidence, and managing proceedings effectively.

Conduct thorough legal research and produce well-reasoned legal opinions and briefs in a timely and accurate manner.

Draft high-quality legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, motions, letters of demand, and settlement agreements, with minimal supervision.

Manage a diverse litigation caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept fully informed throughout the process.

Engage directly with clients, take detailed briefs, provide strategic legal advice, and build trusted relationships.

Handle debt recovery matters, including initiating legal action, enforcing judgments, and negotiating payment terms.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including counsel, court officials, and regulatory bodies, to ensure effective case management.

Adapt quickly and effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.

Contribute to strategic litigation planning, offering input on case strategy, risk analysis, and dispute resolution options.
